Well it's certainly been a hectic few days ands it's calmed down a bit now that it's monday. But i look back over the last week and all i can think is WHEW!! There's been some really great high one in particular being "a fly on the wall" with fellow reportage photographer Dalila El-Arabi for LYRIC LOUNGE.
Dean Atta and Deanna Rodger host an eclectic blend of soulful vocalists, sizzling new bands, poetry, dance and comedy as the Studio at Lyric Hammersmith is transformed into the LYRIC LOUNGE.
With the stage set these talented youth all under the age of 25 rocked the house with soulful lyrics, exuberant energy and a sense of purpose unrivalled by many in their fields. And not just the booked acts either, under 20 poets grand slammed their way to a victory worthy of any Wimbledon Tournament. It's no wonder so many left the event not only with the high that comes from being truely and thoroughly entertained but with the distinct impression that they were seeing the stars of tomorrow, EMERGENT TODAY!
