LOVING THE BLOGWORLD

Yeah i'm definitely loving the BLOGWORLD. Have signed up for quite a few so far. and wondering why i didn't link into this before. But seriously guys am i the only one that sometimes feels OVERWHELMED by the AMOUNT OF INFORMATION we assimilate daily?? I mean seriously, by the time i've answered my mail, updated facebook, done the necessary tweets, checked my fav blogs and done a few texts HALF THE DAY IS GONE. Hell i feel like i need an assistant just to wade through my correspondence. But still i can't be angry for were it not for ALL THESE there would be so much information about the world around me that i wouldn't be plugged into.

Still it does get hairy-scary sometimes.

Like the group 3CANAL said on their last album

"TOO MUCH INFORMATION"...., is it really a good thing

THE FIRST PRINTS, FANTASTIC!!

Tuesday, 21 July 2009

Went to the printers yesterday. I was truly amazed. Especially by the J’OUVERT series (my BLUE BOY heheh)

The colours are vibrant and i was instantly transported back to the shoot on that deserted beach in Trinidad.

Sheldon Seebaran was there with me. (BOYO!!)

We had a blast.

Can’t wait to see the rest.

NE-YO trains the UK way!!

Sunday, 19 July 2009

Singer/ songwriter NE-YO paved the way and allowed us to photograph him while he and part of his entourage did a bit of physical training while here in the UK. Together with personal trainer Leslie Sakyi, NE-YO and his crew went through their paces at a local gym near their hotel while on downtime from the Michael Jackson Tribute show here at the O2.

blackˈmanˌkīnd the exhibition

Monday, 13 July 2009

Just roughly three more weeks to go to the exhibition. Things are heating up nicely. I’m excited not just about this my first exhibiton here in the UK but also that I get to share the stage with such other prolific artists.

It is a great personal achievement to come from in front the camera to now move to working behind it. I feel empowered in the ability to give back to others what i learnt from being in front the camera. More so is my ability to empower so many young models coming to the fore. Once again i have to mention my new MUSE in the shape of upcoming model ZIM LELO (www.zimlelo.co.uk). I just decided to use some of the latest image si did of him for a limited time in the exhibition also.

See you guys at the opening.

Moving is a BITCH!!

I finally got it all done. I’m moved. Tomorrow i give back the keys and all is good once more in Conrad land. Moving in with two really good friends, who have opened house and home to me. So i give up my cosy flat for new adventures UNKNOWN.... heheh stay tuned
